Rusty, Don't use the 110 grain bullet for medium and/or big game hunting. It is a varmint bullet as is the 100 grain and the 90 grain bullet. I beg to differ Sir..! The 110 gr. I don't think the weather in that part of Texas is much different than here in OK, although I'm a few 100 miles North. Hot here in OK means on average 10-15 days per summer of 100 degrees or hotter. You ever play "handles"..? Bunch of guys line up, first guy throws and everyone else throws at his hawk handle. The trick is to learn to throw the hawk backwards and when it lands, the handle falls out and lays on the ground where nobody can hit it. Fun if you can do it...

I think the FXT is made for self defense and IMO is a bit gimmicky with the rubbery tip. A properly stoked up hardcast would probably shoot thru both a pig and a deer if you could get them to line up correctly. I worked for Northrop-Grumman/Vought Aircraft for a while straight out of college. One area where I saw people lacking was in the electronics repair end of Maintenance and Facilities. In the plant I worked in, some of the machines might have been 50 years old and the electronics hadn't been updated....
