338 Marlin Express?!?!?
I have become interested in the 338 Marlin Express but wonder if it will go the way of the 356 ,307 and the 375. I "need" one like I need another hole in my head. I can not see it doing anything that I could not do with my BLR-81 in 358 except that the 338 is a Marlin. I would rather carry...

I kinda have an intrest in these as it would allow me to shoot feral hogs on the state wildlife management areas. Marlin 1894CL 218 Bee question
I recently purchased an 1894CL in 218 Bee and have been trying to figure out what years they were produced and how many were made. I got a copy of "The Marlin Book" by William Brophy from my wife for Christmas. It has the 1894CL in 32/20 and 25/20 listed but not the 218 Bee. The 32/20 and ...

The Laser-cast 115gr sized .313" ahead of 4.0 gr of Universal Clays has been the load I have shot the most in my Marlin 32/20. It groups under an inch at 50 yards and sometimes much better. I also like 100gr XTP's with Win 296. Starline makes the best 32/20 brass as far as I am concerned althou...

I had a Browning A-bolt Micro Hunter Left hand in 7mm-08 because I said if they ever made it I would buy it. I hunted with it one season and took four deer with it. I will never apologize for using what allows me to make a clean shot. I guess because I grew up shooting scopes they just seem natural for me. I hunted for one year without a scope on a rifle and that was only because I had not mowed enough lawns to pay for a scope that summer along with the rifle. ...
