In the early Ninety's I remember seeing surplus boxer primed, U.S., 1980's manufactured .303 British ammo with no head stamp. Why? Obviously it had been intended for the Afghans fighting the Russians.

I believe the only thing unsafe about the Model '93 is, they were not intended for smokeless powder and the probably have 2 1/2 inch chambers.

I never understood why Ruger never offered the "Deer-slayer" auto in 45 Win-Mag, 9mm Win-Mag, 10mm, etc. The same would go for the Ruger 96 in any number of new hand gun cartridges both rimmed and rimless.

Most air rifle aficionados claim it takes a full can of 500 pellets for new spring piston air rifle to break-in and achieve its accuracy potential.
