Re: How to remove ethanol from gas

I got a tank full at Shell a couple months ago that had too much alcohol. Lost a lot of HP. After an hour on the net I found the acetone trick using pure acetone from the beauty supply, not the hardware store stuff that has water added. It's supposed to modify the fuel and clean chambers, valves etc...

My Chinese pal bailed me out again.

Had a bad door lock actuator on the BMW. It was stuck in the double lock position which means it won't open from the inside or outside. Means I would have to remove the door card from inside the car after removing the back seat completely and probably bend or break it. Today I revved the engine to g...

The BMW I'm driving has stability control. If I come into a corner too fast the side load sensors turn on a 12V hydraulic pump under the hood to supply brake line pressure to the stability computer, it squeezes individual brakes to keep the car under control. tells the tranny not to shift and eases ...

The bore on my Rossi 92 manufactured in the early 1980s (they call it a model 65) measures .429. It wears a .44 mag barrel. I am confident Rossi did this to ease manufacturing costs. All street racers are stupid!! Race tracks have safety run off areas, padding on hard walls, Armco guard rails and emergency crews.
Race cars have reinforced driver cages and automatic fire extinguishers.
Streets have other cars, lamp poles, trees, houses, and pedestrians.

Sounds like the battery has lost storage capacity.
Had a brand new one once on the BMW with the same problem. Without at least a 30 mile drive after start up it would only spin the V8 once.
When the battery dealer checked it with a load tester it showed good on the first test and a second test failed.
