As much as I like my ARs (which is ALOT), if the sole reason that you are considering one is because they may not be available after the next assault weapons ban; I would go with the 1885. If another ban does go into effect, I believe that having "pre-ban" stripped lowers won't make any di...

Harry, your link started a quest to try to figure out manufacturer and model. I am pretty sure that it is assembled from Weihrauch/Arminius parts - a step or two above RG...(?). It is very similar to the HW series except that the design of the cylinder crane and the ejector rod is a liitle different...

By the way, this isn't a revolver that I normally would have bought but I traded into a bunch of 32S&W and 32S&W Long ammo and components and although I have an H&R 32 topbreak I didn't have anything chambered in the 32 Long. I figure that I have about $35 in this one and even though it ...

F.I.E. - Years in business?
Anyone have any idea when FIE was in business? I think that they went out in 1990 or so but anyone know when they started? I have a .32 revolver in pretty good shape with their logo on it; a diamond with FIREARMS IMP. EXP. on top of diamond, =MIAMI= FLORIDA. on bottom, GUARDIAN inside diamond. I kno...

I am just glad that our closest Walmart is selling guns and ammo again. For over a year they had quit selling guns altogether and had very little ammo selection. Now they carry a better selection of long guns (only) and more ammo than ever. Reloading supplies would be great but I am not holding my b...

I would go with the riser, however; the hand guard should be rigid enough that there will be no movement between it and the upper receiver. But, why do you have the scope mounted so far forward? I have a fairly long scope mounted on my DPMS Varmint and I have snough room for the scope on the upper, ...

Re: Marlin 336 RC in .32 Special
I don't think that you can rechamber your 32 WS to 32-40. The 32-40 is a tapered cartridge that I think would be too slim for the bottle necked chamber of the 32 WS, unless you cut off part of the chamber, rethreaded and set the barrel back. I have a 336SC in 32 Special and it is a pretty good shoot...
