Had a good hunt for Wt. and wild hog last wk. and was lucky enough to take a nice Wt. buck with my old 1876 Winchester 40/60 cal.The buck was shot here in West Tx. at about 110yd. hit low in the chest . I have seen the .22 mag. Colt cylinder for sale from time to time at Numerich Arms or Gun Parts. I have the Colt Scout .22 and The steel frame Colt PMAKER .22 . The .22 Mag cylinder will fit each pistol. DT

I would suggest you check the rifling twist as bullet selection might be easier. My 35 Whale does it's best with the 225 Noslers and with 250s not so much. Hey Old Win, here is a pic. of my old 1964 Jeep,it still works for a living and can get the job done.It is a 4 cylinder 3speed with PTO winch . About 47mph. is top speed not that it ever see's it. A very fine trio of 35 cal. rifles . I am partial to the 1895 in 35 Winchester. That is a rare caliber and a Fine one If I may add. A man could use that on anthing in North America and have enough gun.,,,DT
