Uberti 1876--Oh well, stuff happens I guess
Just jook my Uberti 1876 45-60 to the range for the first time today. New condition, but bought it pre-owned. Haven't had time to install a tang sight, so the buckhorn and front sight were the usual fuzzballs with my "mature" eyesight, but really just wanted to test fire it and enjoy the d...

Re: Skinner Sights

Re: New Frontier!
Did you load .427/.428 or .430 in the 44-40? I've been using .428 in mine and can't seem to get it to shoot. Looks like yours is right on.

Re: Harbor Freight's 60" Hardwood Work Bench
Mine is far better than I thought it would be, and for the price a steal. I find it very sturdy and totally adequate for my needs.

Kirk, you mentioned you shot the sight at 100 yds. Do you have an idea of the maximum range of the sight, i.e 200, 300 or?

Winchester 1885 front sight removal?!
First post on Leverguns, sorry it has to be a plea for help. Has anyone removed the front dovetailed sight from one of the Winchester 1885 replicas? I have two, 30-30 and 38-55, and want to replace the factory front sights with Shavers. The factory sights will simply not come out. I've tried everyth...
