My first 32-20 was a Martini Cadet that had been rechambered to 32-20 with a .317 bore. ([lewisblack]It's a lever! It's. a. lever.[/lewisblack]) I picked it up for $100 in the mid-80s, and since it patterned more than grouped and the bore was a bit corroded I had it relined, and the metal bits bead...

Chaparral Europe made a agreement(unbeknownst to Chaparral USA) with Charles Daley to inport guns that were assembled in Italy. These guns were rejected by Daley because the Daley name was mispelled on them. They were then sold as a lot to CDNN who discounted them significantly below the Chaparral ...

I've had a good experience with the XS ghost-ring sights. The rear sight mounts on top of the receiver without having a bulky sight body on the side of the gun, and they don't hang over the back of the receiver. Here's mine. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y264/FWiedner/Misc/1894C_woE2.jpg :) I wa...

OT - Trapdoor hypothetical
Disclaimer: I don't have one, I don't have a line on one... OK, let's say you run across a fairly priced Trapdoor in original condition BUT the bore is TOTALLY gone. As in a sewer pipe smoothbore. Would you buy it as a wall hanger and keep it as is or replace the barrel and make it a shooter?...

Of all the luck, I rear-ended a car this morning. We both pull over to the side of the road and I get out of my car to check the damage. Slowly, the other driver gets out of his car and I could NOT believe it...the guy was a DWARF! An honest-to-God midget! He storms over to my car, looks up at me an...
