WTB 32-40 ammo
I recently acquired a fairly rough 1907 production 94 in 32-40. Bore looks shootable action seems fine. Would like to get a box or even a few rounds to test before getting into loading for it. Let me know what you got.

When I got my Henry 41 I worked up a couple different loads and tried the 210 XTPs, Sierra, Nosler. I was getting around 1800+ , then it dawned on me that Hornady made some XTP bullets for handgun bullets at rifle velocities. I called them and told the tech what I was doing . Only 44 Special have ever had was an older CA Bulldog I used to carry. Loaded 200 grain JHP shot very well for such an inexpensive revolver and while I never had to use it for its main purpose it did work well on trapped hogs.I think I sold the last of my Bullets and brass to someone here a few year...

Started loading 45acp as a early teen helping the neighbor who got me shooting 1911 load for them. It wasn't until years later that I realized he was using me for cheap labor. What got me started on rifle ammo was when I discovered the 6.5x55. The other rifle rounds I was shooting at the time 30/30,...

Have had mine for quite awhile now. Shoots great, will blow up an armadillo. Is based off of 223 case to handle higher pressure and uses 38 super mags. They also are making 22tcm9r which is same length as 9x19 so can use those mags. I fitted mine with a 38 super upper half as well.

Had a trailboss/52 grain cast bullet load that was subsonic and shot pretty good in my single shot and bolt .223 but never tried,in my gas guns. Lost interest when I finally got another 22 Hornet. That cast bullet over a dab of Bullseye does a great job at quiet pest control.

However I learned from Hornady that the XTP is NOT for rifle velocities. My Henry 41 shoots the 210s very well but according to them 1800 fps will turn it inside out! I'd stick to cast or jsp. They have worked great on pigs and deer shot with my Marlin, I would give them a go. As to Bulldog loads, ...

Some dealers will not accept shipment from a non ffl but most will. Just put a statement in the add that shipping will be more expensive if it has to go through an ffl, and of course make sure your local ffl is willing to do so and find out how much he will charge.
