IT GETS WORSE!!!!!!!! Today I go with a friend of mine that collects Marlin 56/57 rifles to yet another gun shop where he is buying a #56. This is a VERY nondescript place in the basement of an old apt building. Strange! But, man, what an inventory...........He has a Uberti 1866 and a Uberti Schofie...

Search for a clapped out Marlin 39.....success!

So yesterday my son and I had business in Boston, which is about an hour north of where I live. After our meeting I wanted to "hit" a few gun shops. At one of the shops a used Ruger New Model Vaquero (case colored) caught my eye. I have the exact same Ruger in the safe and as I just starte...

Re: Ever seen one of these- RoHM SAA/DA 38Spl

I've fired it with VERY mild 38special loads. It's quite accurate. As accurate as the other revolvers I had with me that day firing the same ammo out to 25 yds. I'm not sure it would stay accurate if I fired anything more than a very light load though. I bought it because it was $50 and I'd never se...

Yikes! And I've been using Remington 7.5 primers in my Benchrest rifle for year because I thought they had the smallest flash!

All I want is for the primer to ignite the powder, not add to the propulsion of the bullet.

I'm going to try some Federal "m" series and see if there is a change.
