It shouldn't matter at all as long as they're stable for you. That said, I'd reclaim the lead shot from the one bag and use corn cob media to fill it instead.

Google earth is great in most cases but where I hunt, the image is crystal clear on one side of the highway and clear as mud on the other. Guess which side of the highway I need to see?

Perhaps a machinist will chime in here but I suppose it's possible that the barrel threads themselves could be off a little or perhaps the receiver was threaded at an angle?
If you can sight it in properly and it shoots well, why change it unless it really bothers you?

Otto, it occurs to me that if you cut your chucks with the corrugations running vertically, you can use a couple of pieces of wire (such as coathangers) to stand your woodchucks up at whatever range you like.

I always set my programmable thermostat to my comfort zones for 2 hours in the AM and about 4 hours in the PM. IOW, when I was home and awake. Otherwise it was set low in winter (65°) and high in summer (80°). No sense conditioning air that I'm not in.
