Don't know the size of your gray squirrel, but the regular rat trap might be big enough. (They're a bit small for our Colorado fox squirrels.) If not, handirifle's conibear trap (110 size) is the way to go. Pound a few roofing nails most of the way into a board so when you set the trap, the two lowe...

AWP, a 1/4" group at 25m ain't nothing to sneeze at for a target 22. Those with much more experience than I say those long barreled 22s are difficult to shoot well because of the long barrel time. Best results are with a very steady bench set-up and bear-hugging the rifle. Some have better luck...

6pt, A couple different ways to look at this. One is to practice with light bullets loaded down, if necesary, then put the real stuff in for the hunt. 86er,
You'll find a heavier bullet, in the 185-220 gr. range will shoot better. Start with 18 grs. of RL-7 and work up until the recoil is as much as you want, but not over 28 grs. Even with the light loads, accuracy "out there" will be quite good.

Bis, An 8 grain spread when the bullets mic the same diameter is caused by air bubbles in the bullets. These are caused by the way the lead is poured in the mould.
