That's a nice collection. I like the Grain Belt poster - GB Premium is my adult beverage of choice. I think we've got the same weather you do, it hit about ten this morning. Pretty boring around here today too. Is that SF gun show pretty good? We were supposed to go to that last year & spend the...

Good for you. I try to do the same whenever I can. I'm a carpenter and see the increasing change to china as the source of tools. Old reliable US tool brands are fast disappearing.

Yup, nice work Joe. I've wondered the same thing about why a sizer ring is needed in it too.
I do have a Lee collet crimp die for my 38-55 that gets used on every round.

-26 on my way to work this morning. The diesel pickup ran just fine, til I left work & noticed a little puddle of transmission fluid under the truck. :(

I buy a lot of Winchester ammo & components too. Last fall I had one round out of a new box of .270 that wouldn't chamber in my rifle. I need to take the mic to it to see what the problem is. I'm guessing it's not a bullet issue, but probably something with the case. Evidently, they're getting t...

It's always nice when it's something you can fix yourself. A few years back, we hopped into the mini-van to head to church. Started it up & it was making an awful squealing/howling sound. Looked at my wife & she says "yea, it's been doing that since Tuesday". Took the truck to chur...

Butch's Bore Shine. Never had much trouble with leading, except for one particular 38-55 load I was using. BBS took care of it real well.

Sounds a bit high to me too . I was just looking at a Benelli Ultralight, new was $1200 at Gander Mtn., who arent really known for bargain prices.

86er - Doesn't the AL-391 have the spring loaded vent for venting unused gases? My A-390 does & I was thinking the 391 was a newer version.

Do you wear ear protection?

The thread about pregnant women got me thinking about this. I'm pretty good about it but I'm surprised at how often I see others without any. To me, a rifle can be downright painful, other than a shot or two while hunting. I was talking to a guy that works with me; he just got back from basic traini...

My wife and I were just talking the other day about the time she came to the sporting clays range with me while she was pregnant with our first kid. She was about seven months along. With almost every shot, the baby kicked. We were shooting league, so my four teammates were there too. 75 rounds/guy ...

Thanks for the replies guys. I may have jumped into this in the wrong manner. To me, it's a no-brainer, but it may take some consideration on the parts of others to make any changes. The 10mm auto is the one exception to the current minimum handgun cartridge length. From what I understand, this was ...

Hello all, this is a bit off the beaten path, but still levergun related. In my area of Minnesota, deer hunting is limited to either shotguns with slugs, or handguns of minimum caliber/cartridge length. My proposal is why not allow rifles that shoot handgun calibers for deer hunting. I emailed our D...
