Re: Two Marlins, a Browning and some thumb busters
M.M.Wright, thanks for your reply. Of the lanterns in your possession, do you have a favorite model? You know, if anyone had chambered the '92 in .41 I'd be all over it! I can't decide which design I like more: the Winchester 1892 by John Browning or the Marlin 1894 by John Marlin... while I prefer ...

Re: The Christmas Bicycle
Well, as long as we're telling cop jokes... I was driving to into town the other day, and a cop pulled me over. I didn't do anything! I rolled down the window and began to protest when I was interrupted with, "I only pulled you over because your wife fell out of the car about three blocks back....

You are correct. I did it for a laugh, but I see you are displeased enough to use the "rolleyes" emoticon.I believe you are mixing "repressed" with "suppressed"
Cheer up, my good man! It's Christmas time!

Re: Two Marlins, a Browning and some thumb busters
. Bullard, I was once an active collector of gas-pressure lanterns and stoves. Since I don't really *need* any additional pieces, I am now someone who simply has a collection of vintage Coleman. I still, and often, light a big hat 228 lantern in the evening. Sure, if another well-preserved BQ or 42...

. Man! I would certainly enjoy shooting suppressed... wait... I already do. I live and shoot here in California. What I mean! is... I would love to shoot using a suppressor, but it is verboten in the fine state in which I reside. But, yea; why thread a 24" rather than a 20"? if you have a...

Two Marlins, a Browning and some thumb busters
. Howdy. Years ago I had an old Win '94 in .30WCF that didn't shoot well. I didn't think to have it rebarreled, and sent it down the road. I did roll the money into my first whirlenpopper, a S&W Model 60, so all is not lost. I went shooting with a buddy who brought along his Marlin 1894 in .357...
