I tried wool felt wads in the .44 mag once.
Don't do it.
It smells really BAD.
Worked in the Ruger OA with Pyrodex, so I figured.... :idea:

Not the best idea with a lot of slow-burning smokeless powder.

I probably will shoot off the balance before selling. Seems like the least laborious method. If I decide to sell at all, that is. I have let potential buyers use it up (under my supervision) and it usually hooks them - being able to shoot up some "free" stuff is hard for anyone to resist....

The barely perceptible nod after the finishers with the revolver was definitely a look of ackowledging decisive finality. :shock:
