I just saw those grips on Exotic Grips by Esmeralda's website. I purchased a set of Hi-Power grips from her earlier this year, made of cocobolo diablo wood, with a celtic design. They are goregous and the workmanship (workwomanship) is fantastic!!!

OD, you need to do us all a favor and post a picture of these once you have them mounted!!! PLEASE! :D

I had bought a set of Cocobolo, also with the Celtic high cross.

My best friend saw them and I never had a chance to mount them on a pistol, they look really sharp on his S&W 1911 though. :)

Dan are those grips Ivory, bone, polymer, of something else? They sure look mighty fine.

They're made of Ivorywood.
Ivorywood a tropical hardwood resembling ivory.
Ivorywood grows throughout southern Brazil & into parts of Argentina & Paraguay. It is also known as Marfim, a Spanish/Portuguese word for Ivory. The off-white colored hardwood has a density between that of walnut & cocobolo & was formerly made into fine furniture. These days it is more rare and generally only available in smaller lumber sizes.
