OT Price Check S&W M625-3
I have a chance at a S&W M625-3 (45 ACP / 45 AR, 5 inch bbl) for $450. The gun appears to be in excellent shape with little use. I'm not up to date on S& W revolver prices. Does this sound like a reasonable deal? Thanks for any info.

I just sold one for $625. I'd jump on it! Super shooters!

I just told the seller that I would take it. Thanks to each of you for your input.

I'm surprised, too. But I'm happy for you.
Pepe it is good to see you post. How'd that .260 Rem Savage 99 work out over the long haul?

I went as far as I could go. Established a hunting load with my bullet of choice, made sure it functioned thru the action and waited for a moose lottery draw. I haven't drawn blood w/it yet. It carries great for an old f--t. Handles fast, which is of great importance in the scrub where I live and hunt.
Nice to hear from you Hobie.

To keep w/the spirit of the thread, I'm trying to develope a load for my 625 to use this fall. Got some serious casting to do this summer to get some boolets for testing. There are some bedding spots where I couldent get a good shot with any rifle. You must don water proof cloths, and get down under the Hemlocks to see.

That's about $200-$250 bellow current internet person to person prices.

Like a fool I sold mine, been a kicking myself every since. A Friends Brother just had to have the piece and I let it go. He went on to win the Northwest IPSEC revolver championship in his class with the piece.
