40 Years with the 45-70
I just finished reading "Forty Years With The 45-70" again for the 5th or 6th time. I learn something new every time I read it. It occurred to me to ask if there is a book like this that cover the 30-30?

The closest would be Sam Fadala's book on the Winchester 94.

Yes, Sams book is very good. I got my copy from Amazon.com last year just to find it came from a library about 1 hour away as surpluss.

Yes, Matthews drank the 45-70 Kool Aid early on. Too bad that are so many who refuse to partake....
The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are just about done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....
