Hello again!

Post by marlinman93 »

Well after a Looooong break, I am finally able to access this forum again! Had our phone lines cut, and now connected to our cable co. for internet service, and it seems that may have been the issue, as it's working again!

Added the litle 3f Ballard last month, plus a Stevens Favorite 1915 .22, and a Remington #6 .22, so it seems I'm knee deep in .22 rimfires lately!
No pictures of the others, but this is the Ballard 3F.

Just think about how much quicker and easier it will be to post pictures of your extensive holdings now that you have a cable internet connection.

Almost forgot! I did pick up another Marlin whilst I was in hiatus from this site. It's a .25-20 deluxe rifle, with half mag and half octagon barrel, deluxe wood, pistol gripped, checkered. Dates to 1900.

By the way, Vall, that 25-20 is slick! I'd give a left something-or-other to have one like it. How's the bore?

The bore is beautiful Mike! One of the first old Marlins in .25-20 that I've owned with a good bore. I've seen so many 1894's in .25-20 with bad bores, so this was a real plus when I found this one. Picked up a 1893 in .32HPS, with a 26" full round abrrel today too! It wont be here for a couple weeks, so pictures will come later!-Vall
