OT-Another Philly Cop Shot Dead

Another of Philly's finest shot dead. The 4th this year!!!!!!!  For you guys who live elsewhere, I would like to let you know that Philadelphia is a city in total disarray. Criminals run rampant. Truck drivers I know do not stop at red lights as criminals will jump on their tractors and attempt to rob them or sell them drugs. Whitey dare not walk (or drive) the streets without something in his pocket. You don't hear much about this.

About 10 blocks around center city are the only somewhat safe place in the city to be. My good friend and fellow board member "Bluehawk" was a Philly cop but gave it up after a few shoot outs. The criminals have no respect for cops or life in general. I am appalled by this behavior. In the old days, Mayor Frank Rizzo was known for his brutality when dealing with criminals and kept them "in line" but the Liberals stopped all that.

Maybe they need the great "Community Organizer" to pave the way to the promised land :( OOOR maybe they need to start convicting some of these scum bags and take them off the streets.

I'll second that! :D

My wife and I visited Philly on July 4th about 12 years or so ago. Got to see some of the descendants of the original signers of the Declaration of Independence "ring" (pat ever-so-slightly with white gloves) the "Liberty Bell". We wandered around a bit and then realized just how bad - and dangerous - the city was just a few blocks in any direction.

Very sad... :(

My Daughter and Son-in-law are stationed in Maryland and enjoy long weekend in Philly.
