Free Color Case Hardening Job! (Update)

Post by danthegunman »

I want to announce That I will be giving away a Free Color Case Hardening job to be given away at the Greensboro Gun Show in NC in February 10th, 2008.

All proceeds will go to the Family Services of Caswell Co. "House of Esther" women's shelter.

Stop by my table or contact me for details by email or his forum.

By doing this serves two purposes. One, I get more exposure for my Color Case Hardening service. And two is the most important one of all. The "House of Esther" gets 10% grant monies, and 90% donations. This is a womens shelter that really need our/communities help.

I know it's the season, but you have until Feb. to do so.

Tickets are $1.00 per tickets or $5.00 for six.

You do not have to present to win.

If you are interested:

Dan Printz/Gunsmithing
PO Box 33
Yanceyville, NC 27379

Once I receive the money I will send out the tickets.
Please include a self addressed stamped envelope.

Thank you

Semper Fi Dan

I would also kick in a couple of bucks. Can we do it via mail or do we need to be there in person. It would cost me several hundred bucks just to get there.

Dan -

When you going to do the drawing? I may have a chance to attend - just depends on what work was like the week before and would be the week after. Kind of hard for me to justify the 2 hour one-way trip away from the family if I had been on the road the entire week before - which often happens. If I can make it, I'd like to stop by the booth, shake your hand, and enter the drawing. If I can't make it - and I probably won't know for sure until the week before - I'd just mail in my entries and donation. If you are going to draw the day of the show that probably wouldn't work; if you are drawing a week later, it might.

Let me know - Sounds like others are curious as well.

Thanks - sounds like a great cause! :D

Sounds like a good opportunity to help someone in need with a nice possibility of getting an old rifle cleaned up and purdy.

The winner's name is Cyrus Bowman. He has selected a fine example for me to Color Case Harden. It is a Parker Double Hammer Lifter. He commissioned me to refinish the Damascus barrels, restock the furniture with exhibition grade wood in black walnut. Plus he gets a Free Color Case Hardening job also. I will post pictures of it (before & after) when I have it completed.

Looking forward to seeing your work too!

I'll have to swing by whenever we visit NC again. Lived there for 11 years. I do miss the lower heating bills!!

It was a pleasure stopping by your table, shaking your hand, and entering the raffle. What a great cause!
