It's 45-70.
Yes that's their deluxe longrange vernier. It only has 14 minutes windage, but if I find it's not enough I can always take the soule sight from my other rifle and be good to go. As long as that staff is I can't help but think it should reach a mile with no problem. On my other rifle 1000 yds was achieved most of the time at 1.9-2.0 , and that's just about the middle of this one.
The long range buffalo and creedmore type matches are what I get a charge out of. When you go to shooting those long range targets it just flat gets addictive.

Thanks OD she's a looker alright, and I think going to shoot just as good as it looks
Oth I'll be shooting the RCBS 530 gr rnd nose, or the lyman postell, so far it looks like .459 is going to be the size. It did shoot terrible close to moa the other day, but it wasn't a reall good test. The temp was 17 and the wind was about 10 mph from about 80 degrees to the left. Sort of a neat trick to try and shoot tight groups , when the damp wiping patches are froze together.
I like the RCBS bullet better than the lyman, it carries more lube , and shoots very well, but we'll have to leave the final say up to the rifle.
