You enjoy Yuma when its 120 outside and your air conditioner craps out. Here in Wyoming we rarely get above 95 most years! Besides, how the heck do you snowmobile on sand? It just don't work for me! :D

I've gone through Yuma when the Gila Monsters were crawling inside a camp stove looking for a cooler place to rest. I'll take a little snow and ice here and there before consigning myself to Yuma and the desert forever.

Are you RVing it?

We used to go out to Senator's Wash and then across the river to the Yuma Proving Grounds in both the winter and the summer. A bit more pleasant in the winter but we also had a good time in the summer.

I misspent many a summer along the Colorado River in CA and AZ... Can still remember the feeling of having the asphalt ooze up between your toes as you hopped, skipped, and jumped your way across to get back on the sand and gravel!

Modoc, we stay in an RV resort, we have a park model now but we RV'ed it for years, still have a little 25' 5th wheel that we use for side trips.
