My gosh I'd forgotten about that!

That's one memory I'd rather forget.
Kirk: An old geezer who loves the smell of freshly turned earth, old cedar rail fences, wood smoke, a crackling fireplace on a snowy evening, pristine wilderness lakes, the scent of
cedars and a magnificent Whitetail buck framed in the semi-buckhorn sights of a 120-year old Winchester.

Re: "like a hair in a biscuit"
Sorry Hobie...can't keep a good man hangin. I believe his real first name was Larry. After a gun deal gone bad(a 73 Win. in 22 short if I remember), it was discovered by Scott T that he was posing here under an assumed name and was actually Larry L. He stiffed the guy who bought the gun here and disappeared from sight. Before all this happened, he was at the center of some extremely controversial posts that basically got everyone's underwear in a wad. Discussion was pretty hot surrounding his posts. I'm thinking this was about 4 years ago, but like Aces and Eights, some folks just "stick with ya" years later even when you try your best to forget the whole deal.TedH wrote:Uhhh, sorry. Well, thanks for clearing that up

Why don't I remember any of this? (then again, I can't remember what I had for breakfast this morning and its now* 9:22 am)
When Hobie starting talking about "memories", I thought it was the great memories we HAD while owning guns. I feel a MAJOR uprising coming up---Do a search on HB45

One thing is for sure, A & E would argue with a possum, and over several months or years, would eventually kill the possum through the sheer exhaustion of arguing every point of truth in the Universe. At least he never seemed dishonest or deceptive.deerwhacker444 wrote:I think his handle was "Potlicker" wasn't it..? Seems fitting. Whatever happened to Aces n Eights? He had some good posts.

I miss Junior . A stand up guy who could stir the mud with the best of him . Some people just didn't understand him. He was like the old man sitting on the front porch yelling at kids crossing his lawn, totally harmless. I wouldn't use my 94 trapper as much as I do if it wasn't for his saddle ring sling.
Aces and eights entertained me in the fact on how people got sucked into his nonsense.
