Is he still around? There's a guy at work who is very interested in getting his Marlin 336 30-30 rechambered in 38-55.

Good question. I could be wrong but I think it's based on a shortend 444 Marlin case. Need to check into that one.

i'm far from from an expert,but, rebarreling a win 9430wcf. to .375wcf.sounds kinda dangerous. think the .375 is loaded to a higher pressure than the original 94 could handle. that's why winchester came out the BIGBORE 94. ? :? :?:
