I have a Lee 4 die set for my 357/38 special. I think I'm going to be close on the sizer die but I was wondering if I could use them for my 357 Maximum. If not, I was hoping just to buy the sizer die but Lee doesn't sell it by it self. RCBS, Lyman and Redding do but it cost just as much buying the entire set. The cheapest way out is just to buy another Lee die set I guess.

I use the .38/.357 dies set to load all my Max ammo. It works just fine.

+1 Me too but mine has the standard tungsten ring. I'm not sure if a standard-steel-kind-where-you-have-to-grease-it will work.--------SixgunJeff Quinn wrote:I use the .38/.357 dies set to load all my Max ammo. It works just fine.

I know for sure that RCBS and Redding steel .357 Mag sizers work just fine - those are what I use.

I use my RCBS .357 die set for the Maxie. It does very well.
