Update on Terry Murbach

Friends of Terry need to know that he had five hours of surgery yesterday to repair a perforated bowel and to clean up a massive intra-abdominal abscess. I talked with Judy just now; she says he is resting well, tolerated the surgery reasonably well, but is on heavy doses of antibiotics and pain-control medication. He is undoubtedly looking forward to getting all this health problem behind him. Judy said the surgeon is very optomistic that they contained and removed all the infected material.

Terry would enjoy correspondence - cards or emails. Home address is: 209 E. St. Francis St, Rapid City, SD 57701

He is hospitalized at Rapid City Reg. Med. Ctr., but I don't have their specific email.

Prayer sent. Hope he realizes that being nice to the nurses makes the bandage changing and such become less painful. If you make them mad, the nurses can make you miserable, but they are there to do a very necessary job.
