Post by Tycer »

Been sick with something croupy and painful all over for three days. Nancy is out of town. This sucks. I'd love some help please.
Kind regards,
Tycer

My wife and I are just beginning to get over what ever virus has been beating us to death. A nasty upper respiratory virus that's left us exhausted, week, and in constant pain.

I feel you YK, but suffering with company isn't much better. Hang in there, you'll make it.

I pray that you get some good antibiotics, plus dvd copies of Quigley Down Under, Rio Bravo, Tombstone, Appaloosa, plus Lonesome Dove and Comanche Moon if you are up for it (substitute any other cool titles from the "levergun friendly" rack as you will) and have some peace and quiet to recuperate for the weekend

Tycer,

Just finished morning prayers and you were on the list as was your wife's travels. Praying the Great Physician touches you personally and provides a speedy recovery and his loving embrace to take away the loneliness. blessings

I said a prayer for you and your wife. You definitely need it and she needs it for the travel home and will probably need it when she gets home. :D

God be with you Tycer. Prayers up. It's especially bad when you have to go through that stuff alone. Take care.

Tycer, prayers sent for your healing. For the cough, get some Mucinex DM as it will break it up and slow the cough. Use Tylenol, Advil, Motrin, Aspirin, or whatever generic you like for the pain, and dont forget to eat lightly but eat healthy while you are sick. Kind of sounds like the flu. Take care of yourself.

Hope you get well soon. I

t does suck being sick and alone. I came down with food poisoning once after eating at a Waffle House in North Carolina. The next two days driving down the highway had me stopping more times than I had planned.

Thnk you guys so much. I finally broke a drenching sweat about 4 AM and it lasted until 10 AM. Yea! That's a good sign. The pain is mostly gone from my joints and the croup has turned to an occasional cough and a runny nose. Much better!!!

I know your prayers helped. I could feel it. Amazing stuff.
Kind regards,
Tycer

Gday Tycer,
Leavergunners dont just die we get up and get meaner, get well and shoot the virus. Maybe some of that Pennsylvania whisky that Robert E Lees troops favoured at Gettysburgh might do the trick sir. Courageous men to a fault.

Glad to hear somethings happening. It's the worst when sickness plateaus and nothing seems to work.
