Spring in Marinette County Wisconsin, the deer are moving
Thought I would share this with ya'll, supposedly a snowmobile trail in Marinette county.

That'd be one heck of a penetration test for some heavy 45-70 loads!

Could be a road/driveway or a powerline easment but it has been plowed. If salt has been spread, the deer may be licking the salt -- much like a salt lick. During severe snow storms here, I put out a couple of bales of alphalfa in the back of my place for the deer and the wife puts out lettuce, carrots, and such for the rabbits.
Impossible to get an accurate count of the deer in the picture. Great picture though. Thanks for the post.

NICE!! I have 80 acres in Marinette County and now I know where the deer went to. I saw 2 does last year (bowhunting,rifle and muzzleloader). 3 deer the year before . Crop damage permits hit us hard by me. It ain't like that everywhere!! Good news is I have alot of turkeys.
