New Guns

Post by GabbyHaze »

Hi Guys,
My wife Jo-Ann got a Wyoming License to Carry a Concealed Weapon so we got her a new concealed carry pocket book and today we got her a brand new gun. It's a Taurus Model M85 Ultra Lite in a 38 special with a ported barrel and pearl grips. Here's a couple pics of Jo's new gun. She hasn't stopped grinning since she got it. LOL

Today I also traded in my Ruger SP101 chambered for a 32 H&R magnum for a new Ruger SP101 chambered for 357 magnum. Since the 357 magnum will shoot 38's Jo-Ann and I can used the same ammo. Here's a pic of my new Ruger SP101.

I am not letting my wife see this. She's carried a standard model 85 for years. If she see this, what with the pretty colors and such, I'll be buying a new gun I won't be allowed to use.

Excellent & smart choice for your better half or for that matter, just about any civilian. With a revolver, very little thinking is involved (in a defensive situation) at a time when you need to think  A 38 Spl. with todays ammo is plenty for the casual user and will give confidence in knowing the perp "will go down"---if hit right :D .

I have to get a laugh when I see guys buying automatics with 17 different thing-of-ma-jigs on 'em for their wives (or themselves)--------------------------Sixgun

Don't always laught when they buy those guns. There are women out there that can most likely out shoot most of us here. Had an aunt that was that way. If she had a 1911 in her hand, the WORLD (her family) was safe.
