Any SHOT or SCI attendees here?

Post by Mike Rintoul »

We are usually at SCI but this year I will be at SHOT for the first time, and since they overlap I can't do both. We will have all our Extreme Ammo available including the .32 ACP (just completed)! We will have some Safari Ammo and a variety of other stuff too. I'll be in the Law Enforcement section - it was the only place I could get at the last minute. If you're going to SCI, sorry we'll miss you this year but I thought I'd rally up anyone here attending to start a meet and greet tradition.

Thanks,

I'm staring at Dallas Safari Club at the PHASA booth, then on to SHOT on assignment for Upland Publishing (Upland Almanac) so I'll see you there, and then on to Reno for SCI Thur and Fri at my booth. Anyone else?

I was going to go to SHOT this year until I saw they scheduled the entire event over the week and not a weekend. I would have to use 5 sick days to attend and just can't do that and make a more important event later in the year. So, I hope one of you guys does a good write-up on SHOT!!!!

I'll be at SHOT. Mostly at the EMF booth as their warranty rep but roaming too.

SHOT is in Las Vegas at the Sands from 1/19-23 and SCI is in Reno from the 1/18 -22nd. Oh and Dallas Safari Club is 1/7-10 followed by Houston Safari Club 1/14-17.

Just a question regarding attendance at the SHOT convention: Is it open to the public at large or must you be a part of the shooting sports industry? Thanks!!

We will be at SHOT, doing our daily reviews every evening starting on the 18th with stuff we see at the media shoots. Have five different shoots to attend that day, and two parties on the night of the 18th. After that, the other days will not be as hectic.

One of the benefits of having a C&R license is that you can attend the SHOT Show. I enjoy seeing what's new and usually try to go every other year or every 2 years. But since I just bought a new vehicle, I need to forgo this year's show. :(

I was informed that C&R holder could NOT attend the SHOT show under their license a few years ago.

If you're real friendly with your local enabler you could get them to help you as long as you pay the bill.

Thunder 50: I had no trouble registering and attending the SHOT Show via my C&R in '08 and am still on the electronic "mailing list".

Who told you this?
