Thanks to him & congrats to you! Are you going to let him play with the new Marlin...
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.
Re: Son is Home
I gave him a new .308 Remington Model 700 BDL that I had dropped into a Remington Classic stock and a Marlin 25.
I'll probably let him shoot the Marlins.

My late father served with the original 335th FS back in WWII at Debden, England. He was a T/Sgt Flight Chief for "A" Flight on the Spitfires to start (while part of the Eagle Squadron, when the base was run by the RAF), then the massive P-47 Thunderbolts, which were followed by the awesome red-nosed P-51 Mustangs."Members of the 335th Fighter Squadron..."

I have a copy of the patch your father wore. They are allowed to wear a patch of choice on Fridays and it is one of the choices.

Re: Son is Home
Congratulations on raising your son right. Glad he is home safe. Tell him "Thanks for serving" from one more former service member. Airforce pilots were the ones who flew the C130s and C141s that I jumped out of. The pilots always did their job perfectly so that we could do ours. I respect them.
