KBI in Harrisburg, PA is the importer and has a bunch.

As soon as I get my Birdshead Vaquero sold I'm getting one. I've been invited there to pick out one with extra nice wood. 8)

You go to www.jerryssportcenter.com and check out the Bonitz (Harrisburg) branch. I couldn't get in with their registration set-up. I get in at the shop since they have an account.

Sorry, about the "tone" the statement about picking out the stock might have created. The one shop owner where I help out was one of their gunsmiths for a few years and we do work for the owner, Jack Bonitz, at the shop. It's just a matter of luck that I have that opportunity.

The rifles are Italian made by the company that makes other Sharps and Rollers but I can't think of the name. It begins with a "P".

It could be that they only sell to dealers with FFL since they send out a catalog to dealers only. They have a phone number to contact them with to register.

I'ts not a pedersoli It is an Armi chiappa. They are the ones that make the fullsize charles daly sharps and their version of the 92.According to the president of the company their website is down to be updated .I'm waiting on one in 30-30.He said they would be out in late spring .the next one to come out is the 22 hornet .I learned this from the high road forum where the president ,Micheal Kassnar , has a thread about C/D going now.it was 10 pages this morning ,it might have grown by now.

I just got off the phone and you beat me to it Reb. The more I thought about it the more wrong I knew my manufacturer was.

As of three weeks ago Harrisburg only had .45 Colt and .38-55's.

I wouldn't mind a 38-55 and 30-30

Darn shame they don't make them in 32-40 and 7-30 Waters . Dakota makes their small action Sharps in all four of the calibers I have mentioned as well as the 25-35 :!:

For the difference in price you could have one rebarreled

The price of the Dakota Sharps equates in to about four of the Charles Daly ones

See ,you could buy three and have them all rebarreled to whatever caliber. It really suprises me that the Pedersoli sharps is not offered in 38-55 or 30-30.If the small actions can take it ,looks like the biguns would be stronger.I know they offer the rolling block in 30-30 for Traditions .
