That is a beautiful gun, with very nice wood, and I really like that fine checkering. Fine checkering makes a big difference.

A mighty nice looking setup there.

Not exactly my cup of tea since I'm a SXS man but nice.

Not what I'd pick for a "Do Everything Gun" but then again i don 't think such a gun exists. sp i really can't argue with your choice.

What type of slugs do you use and how do they group? I like your concept a lot. When packing for my yearly Thanksgiving trip to SW VA, I have thought about the "all in one hunting package" in one easy to pack case. Since I rarely wingshoot, I have thought about a T/C G2 combo of 30/30, 22RF, and maybe a BP barrel of some sort that would be functional and take up less room when traveling and for home storage. Kinda like the takedown rifles of 100 years ago.
Winchester M94 30-30 (1980)
Winchester M70 Westerner 30-06 (1982)
Winchester M1 Garand (1942)
Too many others to list - hope to add more levers soon.

I like your plan. I'm looking to 2014 to do the same. Fingers crossed and prayers up that your plan comes to fruition.

This is my slug of choice.
After the snow storm I will get to the range and give them a go in the Citori.
They work great in my Browning BPS.
