Re: new to me ...
That would make an excellent pocket pistol. Just right for around the house.
I don't have a grey Esterbrook desk pen set. Got several other colors though.
So here is a blatant thread hi-jack: Just for my curiosity what are the pens in the case and to the left side? You got ink? Do you use them?

The pens were the first thing I saw in the pic .game keeper wrote:COOL but don't let Joe Miller near those fountain pens..

Wow, butt I would watch my six!
Re: new to me ...
the ester-brook set was given to me by my uncle back in 1968, lost it but the wife found it in a old box of stuff,J Miller wrote:That would make an excellent pocket pistol. Just right for around the house.

had it reconditioned. works great !!! the pen to the left is a visconti ball point with a matching fine point fountain
pen in the center of the case. the case has mont blanc's, few star walkers, boemens, masterstruks and such.
wife collects pens and feels if she gives me one she can get two .. I'd rather buy guns even though I have
a few parkers, waterman's, and other odds and ends.
can't argue with her though, last year she bought me a 44 automag, and a 454 super redhawk. so if she wants pens
then she get pens
thanks for asking now back to the stubbie ... I'm doing a range session sat (if I can get in ) I'll let ya'll know how
it shoots ...

Re: new to me ...
Thats what I was thinking from the sounds of it.Its always so much nicer to have the wife with you on things. It took 38 years to train mine, but she is a keeper 2.Pens are a good thing to collect. And ink is cheaper then powder i bet.
