WHat kind of Rifle Fired a 25-25?

Post by Joel »

I came across the long skinny straight-walled cartridge in grandpas junk bin. Have it in my collection now, I wonder what kind of shooter used one of these?

Was that one rim fire or center. I know Stevens had a 25 rim fire just can't ever keep them straight.

Never mind researched my own answer.

There is a .25 Stevens Rimfire and then there is the .25-25 and later derivative .25-21.

Elmer Keith had only good things to say of the 25-25.
