Marlin 1894 22 Magnum
Anyone have one of these? Saw one today at the local gunshow, good shape for $500. Is this a good rifle at a good price? Kelye @ Belt Mountain

That's below market, in my area.
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

I dont remember ever seeing one for sale or otherwise. They must be a rare bird in our area.
Oh by the way. I love your base pins. They sure took care of my base pin jumping problem in my old Vaquaros in .44 mag.

Going rate is $650 to $800, WHEN YOU SEE THEM.
My 1894M is incredibly accurate. The one time I put it on paper I got a 0.82" three-shot group at 100 yds, measured with a Mitutoyo digital caliper.

Might as well face it, you're addicted to guns . . .

That's an excellent deal considering its somewhat rare status (only 12k prod.). A couple of years ago there were three completed auctions on Gunbroker that had bids up to $650+
Mine has been 100% reliable and as accurate as my 39a Mountie. Bought it from a member here, to boot.
Here it is after repairing/refinishing the stock.

I have one and love it. I agree $500 would be an excellent price if it's in nice shape.
