North Carolina's primary is not until May 6. I'll vote then, but you'll have already voted in the nominees. Even if you don't vote.
Kind regards,
Tycer

If that's how I felt, I'd vote for Ron Paul without hesitation. He's a constitutionalist and has the most consistent pro gun voting record of the bunch.
Kind regards,
Tycer

I agree. But it seems like a lot of people I talk to are saying, "But he can't win against whoever the democrats get to go against him." In other words he might win the primary but he won't win the presidency. Sad.

I like about 90% of what Ron Paul says, but the rest of his views are isolationist circa 1930. The world is too dangerous a place for us to retreat into isolationism. Guys,
I'm voting for Ron Paul in todays IL Primary. If he wins good, if he doesn't, at least I didn't vote for the lesser of two evils. McCain is an evil equal to Hillary - I can't vote for him today.
It is my feelings that the media is covering up a quiet rebellion in America.
Years ago a Democrat female got nominated and ran for president. She was fairly well known at that time, but I forget her name. When all the smoke cleared she had been soundly trounced. The glorious celebration the commie media had planned was a bust.
I think that who ever runs against Hillary will have a nasty battle to fight, but in the end I don't think she will be the next president.
On the other hand if Obama gets the donkey nomination we need to get worried early.
Joe

A president does not rule the country. His or her opinion about the war in Iraq will not make the policy. The reality of it is that our troops will stay as long as they are needed, no matter who is elected.
What matters most IMHO is who that president will appoint to the Supreme Court of The United States.
The court is iffy as it sits now. Get another that judges law by the Constitution in place ASAP!

I VOTED TODAY
Those who don't vote in the primaries, keep your mouths shut about who gets the nominations. If you don't vote you forfeit your right to bitch.
As I was leaving I asked the lady who took my ballot weather our district had more republicans or democrats. With a strange look on her face she said, "I don't know, but this morning it's been mostly democrats." Her expression was similar to what happens when you bite into a sour pickle.
I figure most of the democrats are the welfare - entitlement - wics - bums - and retired union workers. The republicans are mostly at work.
ANYWAY, GO VOTE OR YOU'LL REGRET IT.

I voted my choice from the ones still running. But was surprised to see that all the candidates that were running as of Feb. 5th were still options.
I don't understand how that works out , I mean , if I pulled the lever for Fred , what hapens to that vote
The reason I'm asking is my wife missed the deadline to switch to the Republican party and feels that there is no sense in voting for hillary or obama. ( she's learning )
So does a vote for a candidate that has withdrawn do any more good than just not voting

I'll vote in NC's primary, even though it is always too late. I voted for Alan Keyes in the 2000 primary, even though W had already gotten the nod. Imagine that - a "racist", conservative, white southern boy voting for a black man for President. I wish the liberal media had been there to talk to me that day.
Anywho, I'll be voting Ron Paul on May 6 even if I have to write him in.
.........THE TWINS..........
Would you rather vote someone into office that only favors 20% of your views and allows international banking magnates to continue raping us all?Grizzly Adams wrote:I like about 90% of what Ron Paul says, but the rest of his views are isolationist circa 1930. Seems to me a return to the gold standard is long overdue. The major lenders have done nothing but manipulate interest rates and impose the federal income tax to further keep us from having what we are entitled to. We work for roughly four months out of the year to pay a tax to the Feds and most of that goes to the INTEREST imposed by the Federal Reserve, (Read as: Rockefellers, Morgans, Rothschilds, etc.)
In addition, these organizations contnually play the fear card and reap trillions in profit from funding both sides of every war. Then they convince people that "we are at war" and "we need to be afraid" so that they DEMAND tighter restrictons on our freedoms, like The Patriot Act. Hitler did the same thing.
Repeal the income tax, strip down the IRS, remove the Federal reserves puppet strings and commence to having open trade and less bloodshed for profit.
Pull our troops back home, and defend against the Council on Foreign Affairs' big scheme for a unified North American gov't: Why are the borders unprotected in light of 9/11? Cheap labor for ConAgra. Possibilities of biofuel resulting in Federal aid to major farm corporatons and not the mom and pop farmers.
Ron Paul is our best choice to end this charade. Nobody else would dare stand up to the Puppetmasters -they are all on the dole.
In light of where this country's been eaded for the last 60 years: stupid sheeple, socialism, gloablization, and imperial rule while stripping everyone of their rights, don;t you think it's time to change things?
You are aware that the Patriot Act allows federal agents and law enforcement to enter your home whether you are there or not without a warrant, and can sieze all of your property and take you away without cause to be tortured in a prison off the coast of Cuba without any due process? Your guns and right to defend yourself are next.
That's pretty much the jist of it. All in the name of Homeland Security. -Same thing Hitler did.
Divide and Conquer... Invent a new bogeyman to distract people so you can subjugate them.
It's time to return to Constitutionalism and defend it and our Country.
Isolationist? Maybe, but who will look after America if not US.
Politics
I spent about 15 minutes thinking about this post. And the truth of the matter is that I am completely confused by all the BS that is being flung at us. I do not believe anything any of them say. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Why can't we have a candidate who will stand up tall, say what they mean, and mean what they say.
When I was growing up a flip-flopper was a nice rainbow trout in the middel of the boat. Now a flip-flopper is who I HAVE TO VOTE FOR??? Sorry for the rant, Tom.

The closest to what you want is Ron Paul. His record on the 2nd Amd is about as perfect as you'll find today.

Deerwhacker444, here's your news story:

Mr. Offer is the former editor of the Augusta paper. He is very,
very liberal, and has published numerous anti-gun rants. Augusta is
the capital of Maine, and is heavily Democratic. It is therefore no surprise that Maine has one of the highest tax burdens, per capita, in the nation.
