Adios Amigos, Goin' Huntin'

Post by Mike D. »

I am leaving directly for our annual mule deer hunt up in the wilds of Northern CA. Tent camping in a bring your water area that's known for big bucks. Photos will be posted when I return. Aside from my dependable old Remington 700 .30-06 I packed the 7X57 Mauser that I just got from Joe(86er) and a Winchester .45-90 with some HOT 300 grain JFN loads.:D

Best of luck and hopefully the Yellow Jackets have subsided.
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

Best wishes on a successful hunt and I too hope it's the 45-90. But, if something else is more appropriate I'd use it too. Will be waiting for the report.
