Mod71alaska's winter-blues fighting challenge - pics
Well, I got out Sunday for a few minutes before the sun set to snap some photos of one of my favorite leverguns. This is in response to mod71alaska's idea on "showing your leverguns" to help fight the "winter blues". I didn't have a chance to shoot this past weekend (Kirk's idea to fight the winter blues), or take a neophyte shooting (my idea), so this will have to do to help you all stay sane.
Enjoy!
I figured I'd start with the rifle I purchased from mod71alaska - a Winchester 1895 High Grade:
She's a beauty, isn't she?
This one is not going to be a "Safe queen", though I have yet to fire it.
I've decided to wait a couple years, and then christen it with my son, when he is old enough to shoot it.
Come on boys - post you lever pictures today!
Enjoy!

Mighty pretty = looks a lot like mine!
Guess that I will have to take a couple pics with both 1895 .405s. !
But not tomorrow, as I have to go work on the farm while the sun shines.

Very Nice rifle Ysabel Kid.
I have seen some like those in a local shop and man they are nice.
Good luck with the winter blues. I am getting tired of them too.

KentDep, Your pics didn't post, or at least, I can't view them. There is a sticky on the first page that tells how to post pics. Please give it another try. I would love to see your pics too!

You remembered! I did actually manage to take a few photos without my feet in the picture. Amazing, huh? Someday - 20 or 30 years from now, I could even give Kirk a run for this photograhy-skills money! NOT!!!game keeper wrote:YK. Where's yer toes??
