Shoveling snow day...

Post by cshold »

Me & my "I don't like shoveling snow face" :)
Unfortunately not enough snow to make it worthwhile getting the
“Beast” (snow blower) out :(

Ours came down totaling about 1/2 inch and then melted away as temps rose to 34 degrees and the rain washed it away.

Why don't you do like the Turnpike crews... just wait till the good Lord or big trucks make it go away! :P Had to drive up I476 this am... it wasn't any better than US22! I78 & I81 musta got all the attention, they were superb!

If it's enough to shovel, it's enough for the snow blower!

Pathfinder pics 1-24-07 a510 001.jpg
When the snow gets deep I just lock the Pathfinder in 4x4 and drive back and forth till my wife can get in and out with out getting stuck.

Just a short few feet to the vehicle from the steps then to shuvel.

We have two levels here. The snowblower is needed (4 inches or so on up) or sweep off the porches and leave the rest.

Ended up with about 6" here. Stopped about 2 & I spent the afternoon behind the snow blower. I'v got four places I clear for money and a couple I do because they let me hunt. Need to do one of those in the morning and I'll be done. Good excuse to poke around & see if anythings been walking around thats worth waiting for. I still have a week plus of bowhunting left & snow is a nice change this year. Last year by now I couldnt care if it never snowed again.

Back Christmas before last it snowed here on Christmas eve and Christmas day . I have never seen snow on those days in my life . Think I was 72 then. Here was a my beautiful young bride making Angel wings in the front yard with just a night gown and robe and no shoes.. Wasn't supposed too tell that. But I think it was a pretty picture. And no she won't allow me to post those. :P

Me too! :) We have a couple hundred feet or so of driveway, but it's level and packing it down into ice is a non-problem.
