another lever wrap

Post by rossim92 »

My new leverwrap from adirondakjack came in the mail yesterday. I ordered the "thin' One. I put that one on my henry .22 lever. His comes with a leather lace . I also bought one from richochet roys about two weeks ago. His laces on with waxed string. I put that one on my rossi .357 lever. Both are very nice and fairly easy to install. The directions that come with each helps simplify the process. I would recommend buying from them as they have been considerate towards me with any questions that I had :) .

Glad ya liked it. I started out making em by hand, and that quickly got to be too much like work :) So I paid a fellow in Canada to make the die and had a friend with a "clicker" machine source the leather locally and punch out a pile of em. I've probably sold 1000 of em. The only non-local bit is the lace, which oddly enough, after trying several sources, I buy as 72" "boot laces" made by KIWI, at Walmart. They look at me funny when I buy ALL OF THEM when I buy em, but they serve well.
