It reminds me of a morgue, not much going on there. Mine is a different story, nothing is ever completely finished, always something in the press to get loaded...

That's a nice setup for a "living space". I too need a separte shop type space for my pile.... here's the last one that I had - now all packed up in boxes waiting for the next resurrection :)

Next one's going to have more cabinets and shelves - never enough room in/on them...

OSOK, I like that setup. I'm in the process of building something similar. I need some shelves to go over my bench to hold some of the junk I have strewn all over the place right now.

Yikes .... I feel bad now. My area is no more. All the shooting stuff is packed away and the benches and tools are being used on sewing machines.

Aw well.

Don't feel bad. Mine has been packed since mid '09 and until I get my shed finished it will have to stay packed...

I finally talked my wife into letting me move my reloading bench into the library of our house "so that I could be with my daughters as they did their homework each evening." Truth be told, I like reloading ammo with my daughters as they work. We can talk and visit, or just be in the same room together doing stuff. I don't have a photo, as my reloading bench is pretty modest, but someday .......

That man cave looks phony as a three dollar bill. Looks like a photo for a house magazine or something.

This is one very top shelf forum made up of an awsome group of guys.
What's amazing to me is that picture was posted on another forum by
one of their forum members on February 3rd. it has to date 18 replies.
I posted it here this morning and it has almost as many replies.
Again, y'all are great & glad I'm here :D

I personally think that is a nice set up. I have just my 10 bore setup in action currently. I have a melting pot and molds for my .54 sharps, and the .470NE, and .54 flintlock. That's all I do. Hand press for 44mag and 470NE. Very nice setups guys

I think it's actually a piece of driftwood or part of a tree root, which is where a largemouth bass might lurk. It just looks nicer than gluing it to a plaque or finished board. I've never had a fish mounted because they look so plastic. If I did it would be a grinnel :D ("bowfin" for the non-Texans)

Awe come on man....you dont have tree fish there where you live?

Its just meant to be decorative. Kind of hard to get water up there on the wall. I have seen people use branches, drift wood, some other type of wood base etc.

Im not a fish eater but the first fish I ever did try was a great big grinnel that I caught in the creek one day while fishing. Most people around said they didnt eat them but this old man up the hill from us really knew how to cook them so I took it to him. I was about 14 years old. It was not too bad but again....I have never really been a fish person.

More folks around these parts prefer thier fish mounts on driftwood than wood panels. Although that piece of driftwood seems to be lacking in adding beauty to the piece.

Love seeing you guys reloading rooms, keep 'em coming! .DT

In real estate it's "location, location, location." In fish eating it's "texture, texture, texture." Grinnel tastes okay, but it's a little mushy for my palate. I was raised by depression era farm kids, and my Dad cooked EVERYTHING we caught. I didn't eat fish for a few years after moving out until I learned how to fillet them.

Sorry for the interruption. We now return this thread to it's normal programming...
