The Schotty is a 28 gauge, has a bit of kick for only having 3/4 ounce of shot, the rifle is .17 Mach2 with an older Redfield 1 3/4to5X scope. The 1911 is a Springfield frame with the Kimber .22 conversion unit that I bought from RJohns94. 3leg
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

Years, upon years ago, I had a Blackhawk in 45 C w/ a 7.5" bbl. I went out shooting with a guy that had one in 44 mag. His bullets on target were so much faster than mine I sold it.
