Prayer request

Post by bsaride »

Just got laid off from company I've been with over 18 years.

Put me up in your prayers as I look for a new job.

Prayers up. What kind of work do you do? I work with a broad spectrum of industries in SoCal, Nevada and Arizona. I can keep an eye open.

Jay,

I wish you the best. I just had in interview this morning for a part time, 8 something an hour job. This has been the only job I have even received any feedback on. If the economy is recovering, it sure isn't visible from where I'm standing. Good Luck

Last week, my neighbor down the street was laid off from a job he held for nearly thirty years.

Again, good luck.

Times is tough. One of my daughters, with a Summa Cum Laude degree in Music and Masters degree in Business, finally landed a modest accounting job this last year, after working on some part-time stuff for over a year. But God took care of her. Prayers up!

Thought and prayers for you. I had the same thing happen to me 9sort of) a couple of years age. The company I had worked for for 13 years was bought and everybody was let go. I ended up with the new owners with a raise. Think positive.

Jay,
What type job did you have and would you consider moving east ?????
18 years is a long time and that is a tough pill to swallow.
Have a feeling though you will do well and it could end up being better in the end, though right now that don't cut much.

I am an electro-mechanical cad designer using AutoCad and SolidWorks for mechanical design and Orcad for PCB layout and schematics.

I am trusting in the lord and have been put on the church prayer list.

I had a headhunter call me earlier this week and he might have a position for me, I see him on tuesday.

Planned a fishing tournament for tomorrow with my local amateur radio repeater guys.

Going fishing and church on sunday, no worries at this point, heading over to the gf as she is saddened by a loss at work.

Prayers up. There's something new coming on the horizon from God. It now becomes your lot to open your heart and pay attention and act on it.
Kind regards,
Tycer

Prayers sent. Keep your chin up. I was out of work for a significant time and finally found solid employment. Must have been God's intervention, 'cause it's real tough for a guy 60 yrs old (me) to get a job.

Best wishes,
Dan
