I nearly got booted off rimfirecentral.com for stating my dislike of the beatles.. :lol:

I enjoy a number of their songs, although I'm sure I probably wouldn't agree with many of their views. I posted it because of that particular song's theme. I see that Mescalero's tax thread got moved to the political forum, so I'll leave it at that. :-)

Never really cared for the Beatles even before I was old enough to care about their social views. When I was old enough to understand that, I care even less. I love oldies, but give me Buddy Holly or Elvis any day of the week, not the Beatles.

In my personal opinion as a (Onetime) professional musician, I don't understand how they ever made a dime. Or any of those TeenyBopper BS bands as far as that goes :evil: Some of the great bands like Pink Floyd and the Kinks, etc, were different :wink:

Other than being extreme liberals, I thought (and still do) they were the greatest thing to hit our country since sliced bread. They educated a world about the corrupt ways of our governments.
