My new English Stalking rifle

I bought this gun back in march and had it imported here to Canada and it just showed up today.(takes a bit of time to import a gun these days.)Well here it is a custom copy of an English sporting rifle in 54 cal.It has a horn forend cap and ramrod tip with a fancy walnut stock and cap box

It was made by Ed Dillion in the States and was meant to copy a Purdy percussion stalking rifle and has a 30 inch barrel,horn forend tip and ramrod tip,two leaf rear sight with a cap box and a turkish walnut stock.

I plan on buying Pedersoli Mortimer flint shotgun to go with it should make a nice pair.

That is one fine looking rifle! I've never been able to stay interested in muzzle loaders but having a rifle like that just might do it. Just what I need for our early BP only deer season.
