The two women in my life.

Post by Nath »

Last week me and my good lady took a long weekend break in a trailer in North Welsh Wales.

It was hot weather and we did some walking, talking and sun bathing on the beach.

My gal' has stood by me for over 25years, even when I was acting up like a bear with a sore ,,,,ear. When the money is coming in and when it is not.

I love her to bits. The best thing to ever happen to me.

Lovely ain't she :D

My other girl is nearly as good, just don't smell as nice!

It peaked around 28c, is that high 80f ?? Hot for us anyway!

Nath, sounds like you have a first class woman by your side. Congratulations on your 25th anniversary.

How far do you find the 22 LR to be effective on the rabbits - or are they hares?

Blaine - well, the funny thing is, Waits married Kathleen Brennan in 1980 and she's been his wife ever since...that's 32 years so far

Rabbits OS, our hares are much larger.

My longest 22 shot at a rabbit is about 200yds, 130yds are not to hard but going for heads only that limits me. Usually 50-60yds off hand and agood 80 rested if not to windy!

Most HPs kill pretty quick on the centered extended distances OS.

I tend to not do it much now, gettin' older gives me more and more respect for them, they are IMO a remarkable story of survival, preyed on left, right and center!

Guy's it's not our anni; thats in February! Sorry if I mislead

And stop crossin' my post's up OS

Ok, let me be more specific, at what distance will a 22 LR reliably kill a rabbit?

If it were to get down to 80 degrees here my wife might put on a sweater  It's been in the mid to high 90's here for a while, and we won't see a break from the 95-105 degree weather starting soon till about September. Congrats on 25, and it looks like you have 2 great girls to keep you company.

Nath, someday I have to get to Wales and see the ruins of the old family home of Laugharne Castle. That is on my Mom's side. Sounds like you had a very enjoyable time.
