Prayers Request - UPDATE IN O.P.

My good friend Mario just had a bad incident in his house. His 6 year old daughter was bitten in the face by their large lab male dog. Apparently it was so forceful her eye came out and she is in jeopardy of losing her sight, along with other serious facial injuries. They're on the border, so she was flighted to San Antonio for special care. Please send out a wish for little Olivia!

Thanks for the prayer work fellow levergunners! Today I found out the bandages were removed and little Olivia has her sight and the bone reconstruction worked to support her eye socket and cheekbone. There will be as many as a dozen more surgeries but all will be for cosmetic purposes at this point. Thanks again!

Strange that the family Lab would be like that....did it have puppies? It would be proper and fitting to have it put down.

Boy that is strange their Lab did that.
If any breed that would be the least I would suspect?

Anyhow,no matter for that now------Hope she turns out as well as possibly can be expected.(keeps sight/very minimal scaring etc.)
No child whatever happened should have to go through that!

Joe, prayers said for the healing of the little girl and the family.
We went through this back in about 1972 with my son. He was with my wife and three girls at a friends house, their yellow lab bit him in the face and tore his eye out of the socket. The doctor put it back in and he has perfect vision. We praise God for the outcome it could have been worse.Will keep them in prayer, let us know how things go.

Boy am I sorry to hear this and pretty worried, My daughter has a new 3mo old Boy and a large Rotwiler. Prayers Up for a complete Recovery.

Joe - prayers up for sure. How awful. Please keep us posted.

One of my peers at work was bitten by a pit bull just a couple weeks ago. He knew the dog and owner, and had interacted with the dog on numerous occasions. Still not sure why he decided to bite, but he caught my friend in the face. He has stitches above his lip, but they don't think he'll have scars or other issues.

I hadn't seen this before now, wow! And, AMEN! Now for prayers she suffers no emotional scars.
