Priceless 8)

My son took this fat doe at 0745 hrs. this morning
at a local county park. His friend that was with us
also got a nice one.

One of those 'don't get much better than this' days :D

This deer was with about 8 other deer.
20 yard shot from his tree stand.
Doe went 30 yards & feel over dead.
Had her at the butcher shop by 10:30

Filets tonight! M-MMMM.

Congrats!

I had one of the guys that works for me over this weekend to bow hunt. He got a shot at a 6-point but shot under him - he was about 40 yards. He's new to bow hunting and I think he held "on" and of course the arrow dropped. But he was excited to get to see one and have a shot at it.

I think this is the spike I saw last year. Good to know he's still hanging around and growing :)

Congrats on a unforgetable day!! That is going to be one fine eating deer. You can't even make good soup out of antlers. :D
